Jordene Hale, EdD
Dr. Jordene Hale has 36 years of experience providing strategic leadership in education and monitoring, evaluation, research, learning, and assessment (MERLA).
A skilled teacher, master teacher-trainer, and educational pedagogy expert with 16 years of experience implementing projects funded by USAID and FCDO. Dr. Hale has served as Chief of Party (Director) for three projects (Nigeria NEI+, Ethiopia Early Grade Reading M&E, and Bangladesh Inclusive Education). She has assisted multiple countries with educational pedagogy and curriculum reform, designed EGRAs, and conducted EGRA and EGMA.
She has conducted or provided leadership and advisory roles on 64 evaluations and research projects, including mixed-method and quasi-experimental evaluations for complete education projects. She has overseen project portfolios valued at up to $701 million and supervised teams with over 100 administrative and technical staff members. Dr. Hale received her Doctor of Education degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, focusing on Language, Literacy, and Culture..
